- For an annual contribution of $15,000 (US) companies can join the Wettability and Asphaltene Consortium. No contract is required. Companies can join at any time. Contributions are used to support the ongoing wettablity and asphaltene research of the Petrophysics and Surface Chemistry group.
- Consortium members receive regular updates on results of our projects including semiannual reports and previews of manuscripts. Reports are posted on a password-protected web page, which has links to previous reports, papers, dissertations, and downloads.
- Members are encouraged to submit oil samples for asphaltene and wettability analyses. Results are included in a database that is available to all member companies, but the source of samples will not be disclosed unless authorized by the contributing company. Additional projects with specific oil and/or core samples can be arranged for member companies on request.
- Members are invited to biennial project reviews. Visits to your site and/or visits in Soccoro can be arranged at any time.
